Mt. Charleston Lodge: Coming Back Soon

The iconic Mt. Charleston Lodge, tragically destroyed by fire in September 2021, is on its way to being rebuilt and is coming back soon. The Ellis family, who owns the lodge, have revealed updated designs for the new structure, incorporating community feedback. Clark County approved these plans in December 2023, with construction expected to commence in early 2025 and completion anticipated by August 2025.

In the meantime, the 23 cabins adjacent to the lodge remained unaffected by the fire and continue to welcome guests. These cabins are available for booking, offering a rustic retreat in the serene surroundings of Mount Charleston.

For dining experiences, the lodge has introduced "Pine Dining," a temporary restaurant housed in a tent structure on the premises. This initiative began in mid-2022 and has been well-received by visitors.

As of March 2025, the cabins are open and available for booking. Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast during their stay while more permanent food solutions are being developed.

While the exact date for the full reopening of the lodge has not been confirmed, the ongoing renovations and current offerings demonstrate the commitment to restoring this cherished landmark.
